Photographing Hokitika Gorge

I would go back here in a heartbeat. This location was fantastic to shoot, even considering the group of boys who stopped their speedboat right in the middle of the shoot to have a beer.

The rocks of the gorge remind me of aluminium. The trees are so lush and dense. The water is a greenish turquoise. It’s lovely. I’m so glad we stopped here.

This small little waterfall is along one side of Hokitika Gorge.

If you get a chance to go here, jump at the opportunity. It’s just a gorgeous place to photograph and enjoy.

I have a panorama landscape of Hokitika Gorge available in my portfolio. See it and my other landscape photographs in my New Zealand landscape portfolio.
