My brother gave me this little book called The Meaning of Life*, by Bradley Trevor Greive, a few Christmases past. At first I wondered why, because at first glance it’s rather silly, and I’m not usually a silly person (but, I do recognize that I need to laugh more…but, back to my first story).
So anyway I happened to pick up the book just now and found this:

This may not be what you wanted to hear. Most people don’t like questions–they like answers. And if they don’t get easy answers straight away, their eyes immediately start to glaze over.

It made me think: Blogging may be as much about asking questions as finding answers. Teaching may be as much about asking questions, both of ourselves as teachers and of our students, as about finding answers. Life is pretty much about dealing with all of the questions that come up within whatever moral and ethical framework one has defined, both personally and as a group member.
*Note: There is a frog on the cover of this book. Close friends will know my story about frogs and manifesting abundance. Thanks Ellen.
