2. Diamonds or pearls? Diamond stud earrings, at least 1 ct., platinum setting. :-)
3. What was the last film you saw at the cinema? Well, I saw Indigo last Thursday night with T. Before the semester started I splurged on 3 videos and watched them all in a row. Wimbledon, Man on Fire, and The Prince and Me. It was a combination of pure fluffy entertainment and with intense action in the middle.
4. What is your favorite TV show? West Wing. Alias.
5. What did you have for breakfast? Leftover spaghetti. Although, my all-time favorite breakfast is tator-tot casserole. Well, and mom’s eggs are pretty darn good too. I also enjoy potatoes, bacon, or sausage with my eggs, but have managed to restrain myself lately.
6. What is your middle name? Marlene, after my godmother who is also my Aunt.
7. Favorite cuisine? Italian and Chinese. Plus, crunchy salty snacks are tasty.
8. What foods do you dislike? Beans, except green. Cooked cauliflower.
9. What is your favorite flavor? mandarin orange. (or tator tot casserole. :)
10. What is your favorite CD at the moment? Rod Steward Unplugged.
11. What kind of car do you drive? 2000 Toyota Celica, although my 2000 Honda Shadow 1100 is my fav!
12. Favorite sandwich? Currently it’s hummus, cucumber, and tomato. I LOVE cheese tho, so anything with cheese on it, would probably work.
13. What characteristic do you despise? Hmm…people who lie and say they need something right away when they really don’t.
14. Favorite item of clothing? I don’t have any favorites right now. I do have a favorite pair of riding gloves. They are so nice and broken in and the thumb is tore out on one hand. I have new ones to replace this old almost worn out pair. But, they just don’t feel as good yet.
15. If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you go? Scotland, Italy, France (again), Wales, Cottswold, Switzerland, Hawaii, Pass-A-Grille, Maine, Germany, Sweden, Norway, Vermont….ok, so I love to travel.
16. What color is your bathroom? White and blue.
17. Favorite brand of clothing? Chico’s.
18. Where would you retire to? Hmm…too many places to pick from. I love the cultural activities available in a city, but love quiet country twisty roads. Also, I haven’t decided whether I like the beach or mountains best.
19. Favorite time of the day? Sunrise.
20. What was your most memorable birthday? On my last birthday, L. made me a nice cake, bought me flowers, and cooked dinner. Lovely.
21. Where were you born? Rockford, Illinois. I was actually the smallest baby at the time to be born and survive. I only weighted 1 lb. 9 oz. Heh. keeping weight on has not been a problem since.

24. Person you expect to send it back first? I don’t think I know enough people or am that influential yet.
25. What laundry detergent do you buy? 7th Generation.

27. Are you a morning person or a night person? Lately, both.

29. Do you have any pets? Sadly, no. Here in Columbia there is something called pet rent. One must pay it on every pet you have. It’s exorbitant…something like $20 per month per pet. If not for this, I’d have a cat. (love dogs too, but they’re just more maintenance living in an apartment.)

31. What did you want to be when you were little? A stewardess.
32. What are you doing today? I worked all day, virtually, for SMU coding web pages.
33. If there was one thing you could do right now, $ is no object, what would you do? Quit work, read more, write more, and travel around the world.
34. If you only had a few days left on earth, what would you do? Ride as many twisty roads as I could find.
