digital content strategy, social media marketing, and seo expertise
I’m in a session today on Drupal, which is a content management system that instructors use to manage their content for their courses.
Instructors can have group blogs, or “story” pages, for their course website. Or, they can post their course documents (syllabus, schedule, etc.) to “book” pages. Instructors can also set up different blog spaces for their students.
My few sentences above are very simplistic, but for more info, check out the drupal modules and features for more info.
I’ll add a link to the conference website in a later post.
About m2h blogsMarcia Hansen works by day as a marketing manager in social media. At other times you'll find her traveling about speaking, writing, and learning. And, if she's lucky, it's on her Honda Shadow 1100.

M, thanks for the info. We’re a Blackboard shop, but I’m working with a group that’s looking into alternatives for main campus and the colleges. As a group, we’re getting hung up on low cost/no cost open source products, but I’d like to start introducing some options like Drupal. Keep us posted on your likes/dislikes.
Thanks again.

Mike,
After I give my paper this afternoon, I’ll try to post a more detailed review and my thoughts on Drupal.
