I’m really interested in the way that Scott DeWitt and Cindy Selfe are teaching DMAC. Some of the pedagogical things they said yesterday included the following.

In the computer classroom:

  1. “Look up here for a minute…”
  2. “Back away from the computer…”
  3. “Focus on the screen for right now…”
  4. “I have a whistle and I’m not afraid to use it (to get you to stop talking and listen to me)”.

In the conference room:

  1. “Think about all you accomplished today…”
  2. “You are all so smart!”

Then, they both encouraged us to stop them and ask questions throughout the session.

BTW, here is the schedule of readings.
