1 Cortisone shot
1 Discharged Dad
1 Relieved Daughter
Dad’s still in the hospital, but doing ok. He is now actively talking about wanting to go home. I think not much non-emergency work gets done on Saturday and Sunday. Dr. PainMgmt and Dr. Cortisone still have to come in to see him.
I’m still in paper-writing mode. I have a paper [...]
I talked with Dad this morning. He sounds so much better today. The nurse had been in earlier this morning and given him a bath and he had just finished his breakfast of Cream of Wheat. He reports they’re feeding him good. Also, because step-daughter is a nurse and knows people [...]
I talked to my Dad this morning and he said he feels pretty good. He said they had him on a heart monitor all night and that there were no more problems. That is very good news. Yeah!
The Dr. has been in to see him and I think from what Dad said, [...]
Monday: I get a cryptic message on my voicemail from my Dad: Sorry I haven’t called in a while, but I wanted to wait until I had more info. I didn’t check my voicemail until about midnight and at this point it is too late to call.
Tuesday: I try several times throughout the [...]

I’ve gotten the last two presentations done this week that I needed to do for my Romanticism class. Yeah! They even turned out ok. Not great, but ok.
Now, on to the next thing.
The list just keeps getting longer. I cross some things off, but add many more…too many to count. It just never ends. Can I have another week of spring break, please? pretty-please?
I have got to get some stuff done today. Here is my list for today:
1. Read and annotate two articles for rhetorical theory course
2. Write discussion post for #1
3. Read and annotate 1/2 Romanticism assignment
4. Read WAC articles
5. Write listserv post for #4
6. Do laundry
7. Walk on [...]
You know, it would be oh so more helpful if the “eBill Administrator” at Sprint sent me the reminder about my bill a week ahead of the actual due date rather than almost a month prior. I mean, come on! Do you think I don’t realize that Sprint makes more money if I [...]
