I just called the Honda shop to make an appointment for a 24,000 mile service and for new tires. Of course, the 24k service requires most everything be checked, inspected, or replaced. I really didn’t want a $400 bill at this time. But, I so need to get out on the bike and ride. It’s been killing me not to be able to ride it all winter.
I’ve been talking with a couple people who don’t winterize their bikes here. They just run them a couple times a month. I think I might try this next winter. Since I now have a trickle charger (another $45), it might just work, especially since we don’t have weeks and weeks of freezing cold weather here. Although, it has been more winter weather than I prefer (I’ll save that rant for another post!).
